KC Kids Yoga Camp with Morgan
4 hours of theme-based Yoga Camp programming, purposeful craft, healthy snack, and take-home project! Your child will learn: the difference between a "growth mindset" and a limiting mindset, how to use their breath to calm their body, how to focus their eyes to help with balance, how to stretch and move their body safely, how to relax and practice stillness through the yoga concept of "savasana." Your child will also work with a team of peers to develop a 6-pose yoga flow, practice big and small movements to refine their gross motor skills, discuss strategies for emotion regulation, and enjoy relaxation time with hot spa socks and aromatherapy at the end of their yoga camp.
Yoga camp is for kids 5-8 years
Location: Lisa Ash Yoga Office
8900 State Line Road Suite 355 Leawood, KS
Enrollment is $78 per session. (Sibling discount now available: your second child's enrollment is $68 per session.)

“GPS for Parents is an accessible, replicable and adaptable evidence-informed group model that draws on a variety of successful and evidence-based therapeutic and support group modalities including Cognitive Behavioral and Interpersonal Therapies, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction, Motivational Interviewing and Psycho-social Education for greatest outcomes for parents. GPS is a strength-based group model informed by the knowledge that group treatment is an effective modality in overcoming barriers to care such as stigma, shame, and isolation, as well as addressing issues of inadequate population-specific community-based mental health resources.
